NBA players born on Oct. 30

Booker has developed into one of the best players in today’s NBA. The sharpshooter was selected 13th overall in the 2015 NBA Draft and has spent all nine seasons with the Phoenix Suns. He started his career by finishing fourth in Rookie of the Year voting and has steadily progressed since then. Book has made the All-Star team in four of the last five years, with the only absence due to injury. He averaged a career-best 27.8 points per game in the one season he missed out and is currently averaging 26.7 points, 4.4 rebounds, 5.8 assists and 0.9 steals over the last six seasons. He’s also recognized for scoring 70 points against the Boston Celtics in 2017.
Chenier was selected fourth overall in the 1971 Supplemental Hardship Draft by the Baltimore Bullets, and he spent his first nine seasons playing for that organization. They shifted to Washington while he was there, with Chenier making four All-Star appearances during that period. In his nine years with the Bullets, Chenier averaged 17.9 points, 3.7 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 1.7 steals per game. He closed out his career with seasons in Indiana and Golden State before retiring in 1981. He also won a championship with the Bullets in 1978.
