Panasonic OmniVision VHS player
This is VCR model PV-1210, manufactured in 1981 or 1982.
It was the first generation of Panasonic VHS players.
This is an improved update to model #1 a PV-1200.
Featureing a clock, timer, all 3 tape speeds, SP, LP, SLP.
Next, an analog counter with reset, front access AV I/Os
for audio / video in / outputs which became common in 1990s.
Go Retro!
Definitely a classic and a real kick to show and use.
That pop up to slide VHS cassette in - is uniquely different.
After it tested functional for playback - I did vacuum dust off of it.
The image in picture has glare caught by digital camera shutter speed.
This player sat on a shelf in a ~60F year around basement for 20+ years.
AND wow – It still works!  Maybe this is a real testament of quality in
Japanese manufacturing?  Yea, Demming.
