    Description

    This is a Heathkit model CT-1 "Capaci-Tester" unit for testing Capacitors/condensers. It can check capacitors while they're still installed in the unit being tested, without having to disconnect the cap for testing. It uses a 1629 "Magic Eye" tube as the indicator, to show the condition of a Capacitor under test conditions - showing whether it's "OK", shorted, open or intermittent. A copy of the instruction
    manual is included, and it's available for free on-line download if you'd like to find more information about its construction and use.
    There is an excellent article on-line about the CT-1, by Bob,AF6C on the Orange County Amateur Radio Club (W6ZE) site. There's also YouTube videos about using it and other manufacturers' Capacitor Testers.
    It appears to be in good condition and seems to work well, as evidenced by the display indicator giving correct results for different switch positions. The only fault I can find is that one of the bottom rubber feet is missing.
    This would be an excellent addition to your Ham Radio or Vintage Radio test bench equipment collection!

    Shipping charges will be .65 to CONUS ONLY locations, based on other Heathkit electronic test equipment items of similar size and weight that I've recently shipped.
    Any International sales must use eBay's Global Shipping Program service, where I ship the unit to their forwarding center in Kentucky, and eBay takes care of the necessary customs, etc. paperwork, and then they ship onward to the winning bidder. No Direct Overseas Sales!
    Because of the shipping arrangements that are done out-of-state, I am not able to combine shipment of multiple items. I ship within five days of the end of the sale and receipt of the payment. When I've listed the item for sale, it has already been packaged for shipping.
    Please understand that once I've dropped off an item to be shipped, I have no further control of when it will actually arrive at your location.
