    This cause of death did not affect the part listed.
    All parts are guaranteed to be in good working condition and have been verified by a qualified consumer electronics technician.  Pots and switches may need cleaning and all capacitors are original and may need to be replaced but otherwise these parts were verified working when removed from the equipment they were attached to.
    We have seen many parts listings that claim that the parts were "removed from a working unit".  Now we have to ask...if the unit was working then why did you part it out?  That is like a junkyard that only takes in running, driving cars.  Are the parts we sell from working equipment?  Oh heavens no!  These parts are from sets that had major issues that were either not repairable, not economically reasonable to repair or other cosmetic flaws / damage that would prohibit the refurbishing of the equipment.  All problems with the equipment this part came from are disclosed above.
